Jugend was a journal for liberals interested in art, literature, and culture, in the German Empire. It dealt with many different aspects of culture, such as literarure, music, sport, the visual arts, and architecture, but it also dealt with political and social questions. The journal was founded in 1896 and existed until 1940.
